If you have ants in your house or yard and they're not too interested in biting you, they are likely to be one of the types shown above.
Most non-biting ants love eating ant baits that contain Boric Acid (such as drax) or Fipronil (such as our Maxforce Ant Bait Stations and Maxforce Ant Bait Gel).
The ants that leave the nest (just a small percentage of the colony), find the bait and either eat it themselves or return it to the nest as food.
After a few hours any ant that has eaten the bait will die.
They typically die in the nest but only after they've regurgitated some of the bait to the Queen, Larvae and other Worker Ants.
Rather than just buying this Gel and hoping you have the correct bait for your ants, check the behaviour of your ants against those described above by clicking on your ant's image (each ant shown has a page all to itself that explains how and why they do what they do).
Once you've correctly identified your ants, that page will tell you which bait or spray to use and how best to go about killing them.
