- Winged ants swarm and start new colonies from June to August

- Outdoor trails can be found along walls and sidewalks
- Indoor trails can be found making a beeline for any food source

- Unless infestation is heavy, avoid approaching nests as Little Black Ants are exceptionally prone to relocating the nest when it's disturbed
