- Stinger
- Antennae

- Very opportunistic and will nest almost anywhere
- Outside it likes to nest in shallow galleries under bricks, boards, stones etc. along with cavities in plants, trees and mulch
- Northern climates are typically too cold for large numbers of outdoor colonies
- Inside they like to nest under floors, in wall voids and near hot-water pipes & heaters
- Propagation
- Most commonly a queen will depart the colony with a group of worker ants.
- Mating flights (swarms) have also been noted but are much less common
- Foraging
- 100 ft long trails inside and out are not uncommon
- Benefits
- Worker ants will feed on flea and fly larvae, scales and mealybugs
- How to Kill
- One of the hardest type of ant problem to resolve
- Use a combination of Maxforce Granular Bait and Maxforce Bait stations
- Track down and bait every trail you can find
- The indoor trails can take you around windows, along baseboards and pretty much the most indirect route you'd imagine, but have patience and try to get the bait as close as possible to the nesting area
- Using the combination of baits gives the best possible bait acceptance results because some strains of Crazy ant might prefer one bait to the other and vice versa
